You're an International Driver
Even if you've been driving for yonks overseas, it doesn't necessarily mean that it'll apply directly to Australian roads. Depending on where you hold your licence, you may be exempt or you may have to pass a test to drive in QLD, find out more about that here. Even if you are exempt from having to do a test, it's a great idea to get some refresher lessons in Australia to ensure you are being safe on our roads. You've had a long break from being behind the wheel
Maybe you haven't had a car, you've been traveling overseas or maybe your life just didn't require you to drive for a period of time. Whatever the reason, getting back on the road after a break can be daunting. That's where refresher lessons come in. A few lessons with one of our friendly and experienced instructors will have you back out there in no time!
You only have your automatic licence
So you opted to get your automatic licence, but have realised afterward that you actually need to be able to drive manually. Whether it be for work, 4WDing or to simply own your dream car we can help you out. You will need to pass the practical driving test again to obtain this, but taking a few No Yelling lessons will ensure you are prepared for that day. Even if you know how to drive a manual, it's a good idea to get some professional lessons, as it's very easy to slip into bad driving habits that the examiner will definitely not like.
You got a test exemption and passed but need more practice
Congratulations on passing the test, well done! Exemptions are a great resource if you are someone who will struggle to get your licence the traditional way. There is something to consider though if do get an exemption, are you confident enough to be out on the road by yourself in a variety of conditions and situations? You have not had as much experience with a supervisor as other drivers, which can lead to a lack of confidence and possibly holes in your skillset. Refresher driving lessons are perfect for you if you are in this situation.
There are specific skills you realise you don't know how to do
So you managed to skip having to do a parallel reverse park in your test and haven't attempted one since gaining your licence? This is more common than you might think. If you need to practice a specific skill, no worries. Make sure to tell your instructor when you first meet them or put it in the notes section of our inquiry form and we will tell them for you. Our instructors will make a you parking pro in no time.
You had an accident that has shaken your feeling of safety
Accidents happen and regardless of whether there was someone at fault or not it can shake your confidence and feeling of safety in a car. Refresher lessons are a great tool to get back out on the road and boost your confidence and remind you that you do, in fact, know how to drive safely.
